About me

Hello, I’m Cristina, designer specialized in UX/UI, visual design and branding.

I am from Mallorca, a beautiful island in Spain, and I currently live in Lausanne, Switzerland. I have also lived in countries like Denmark and United Kingdom, which has been a great life experience.

In my spare time I love doing outdoors sports, play guitar and work in side projects.

If you think we can collaborate or want to say hi, feel free to drop me an email at info@cristina-oliver.com or contact me through my social media.

Tools I use for my day to day work.

UX design / UI design

To design anything related to apps and interfaces, I use Sketch. It’s an amazing tool built for that purpose that also integrates very well with other tools, like Zeplin or InVision, that allow an optimized workflow with developers and clients.

For wireframes, visual drafts, low fidelity prototypes, I have used tools like Balsamiq, but lately I have found useful to directly prototype in Sketch so when I go high fidelity it’s much quicker.

Branding / Graphic design

For pure graphic design I use mostly the Adobe Suite. My star tool is Illustrator, but I also use Photoshop for projects that need more photographic work and InDesign for layout printing files.

Front-end development:  HTML / CSS / Javascript

For my frontend projects I usually used Sublime text. I recently tried Visual Studio Code and I love it, so I’ll stick with it. It’s very complete and great for debugging.

Motion Graphics

Like most of the professionals in this field, the base software used by any motion graphics project is Adobe After Effects. I have also used Cinema 4d for works involving 3d, for animations as well as for digital design.

Communication / Project management / Version Control

For project management and communication with other collaborators I use different tools, such as Trello, Jira or Slack. For version control I usually use Bitbucket.
